Genital warts usually look like very tiny or larger clusters. If not treated immediately they can expand to large masses all over your genitals. Sometimes they seem like small stalks. A woman can get them inside or outside of her vagina or around the anus.
The HPV virus can penetrate the skin years before the patient start getting the ugly and itching symptoms and so one cant really be sure which partner he got it from if he had more than one partner. Because genital warts dont cause any pain it seems like we could live fine with them as we did without them, the big problem is that they look ugly, they itch and they appear in our most precious place of our body. If you got bumps on your vagina or penis, if you got weird discharge or if something is itching you all the time down there then you could have genital warts. The warts can be very big and very small, so small that sometimes you cant even see them until huge amounts of them come together. If the warts expaned to where your urine is coming out of your body, then you’ll probably bleed or have a urinary obstruction.
If you have warts in one part of your body its most likely that it will expand to other parts if not taking care of.
Women usually get genital warts in their moist areas like the opening of their vagina. If some of the warts can be seen outside then it means that there are probably much more on the inside and thats why you must carefully examine all of the inner parts like the vaginal canal and the cervix. In many of the cases women get vaginal warts without any symptoms beside the fact that they will pass it to their partner. If you are bleeding after sex, if your vagina itches in an extreme way or you got a weird vaginal discharge then you should make sure you dont got warts. Weird discharges together with a strong odor of fish mean that you probably have bacterial vaginosis and not genital warts.

If you got Geneital warts then you are probably between the ages of 17-33 years like most of the people who get this disease. Also children can get warts but that is usually due to nonsexual methods such as direct manual contact.
Very few diseases and especially sexual diseases are as contagious as geneital warts.
Geneital warts can be transferred only through skin to skin contact and that means that you can only get it from your partner. There is a 60% risk of getting the wart infection from 1 single sexual intercourse with a partner who has genital warts.
Most people get mad at their partner at this stage and rather take their anger on them instead of doing what they need to do. There is no point in blaming or being mad at your partner. The best thing you can do is to treat it right away and to learn how to get rid of genital warts or it can spread easily and in huge amount to your genital or penis (usually on the tip of the penis). Beside the fact that you can pass it on to anyone you’ll have sexual intercourse with the HPV that causes the warts can stay under your skin forever while you’ll be able to treat only the external warts.
Its best to see a doctor if you are not sure if you got Geneital warts, Molluscum contagiosum or Frodyce’s spots – they are not the same disease and thus need a different treatment although they might seem the same. If for example you are a male and you got Hirsuties papillaris genitalis you should know that its not contagious and you don’t need any treatment. But if you have Geneital warts you better treat it ASAP or you’ll be sorry for the rest of your life.

I have a wart on my finger and have had it for like 2 years and my doctor says it will go away but it hasn’t i tried the freezing thing but it hurts way to much i also tried the band aid it helped a tiny bit but over all i have had it 4 2 years and its annoying!!!!!!!!!

I have a wart on my finger (knuckle) and 3 on my toes including a large one. I’ve been the the doctors for liquid nitrogen treatment and I have stuff to put on them. It didn’t work. I’ve tried duct tape but it just came off after 5 minutes unless I wrapped it round which seemed to cut off the blood supply. I’m desperate to get rid of them. =( Who’s had them and managed to? xx

I didnt know if having "Genital warts" and just simply having 1 wart is different or the same? I have had this one wart for a year and it is embarrasing and I have read that genital warts are extremely contagious..Should I use the same caution with this single wart I’ve had for a while. Also, I just attempted to cut it off. Im pretty sure I didnt successfully remove it but I did it to minimize the size to allow further efforts to take affect quicker (drug treatment). Please, serious input: Contagious, same as "genital warts", further removal methods???

I have hundreds of little pearly white wart looking bumps on the shaft of my penis! They are much more noticeable when erect, i tried to squeeze one, i couldnt and nothing came out.
