2) go to your doctor and test for HPV – maybe you are with HPV , too! maybe because HPV is most common STD! and anyway ask doctors opinion in this situation!

I agree, I would be grossed out and hurt that he didn’t trust enough to tell that information before. And insist on getting a new STD test to ensure there isn’t any other things he may be keeping a secret.
Well this may sound harsh but I think you should hold off on sleeping with him until you both get yourselves checked. I know you love him but HPV can turn to cancer in women, so better safe than sorry! I’m sure he won’t get mad at you for wanting to make sure you’re both healthy down there.

The fact that the person told you BEFORE any intimacy shows they care about you and want to keep you informed. That is a pretty hard thing to tell someone!
HPV itself only becomes a problem if you have one of the few strains that cause cervical cancer (a very slow moving cancer that anyone going to a gyno once a year should never get). The warts are obviously annoying as well.
Most gynos just assume EVERYONE has HPV…
If your partner wanted to be open and tell you personal info, he wants you to trust him. I would feel glad he wants to keep me protected.
Where do you get this statistic of it clearing up? if you mean to warts go away, sure but he still has the virus. I’d be impressed that he told you before getting involved with him sexually. I mean he must care about you for doing that. I’d go talk with your doctor and ask them what the best thing to do would be.
I started seeing a guy who told me the same thing but it was the day after we did it. I was quite upset even though we used protection. It was the fact that he let his guilt talk him into telling me rather than having the balls to say it before hand.
So my reaction would be "lets get the real scoop on what we can/can’t do to protect ourselves (from a doctor/clinic, maybe even go together) from this becoming any kind of an issue in the future.
